And, since August is typically thought of as summer’s last ‘hoorah’ before September changes Chicago’s colors, we pulled together a list of the best events happening this month, so you can live it up before the warmth is gone.<\/p>\n

The oldest and largest African American parade in the nation returns to Chicago to honor hometown heroes and celebrate the talented youth community.
