McCormick Tribune Plaza Ice Rink<\/a><\/h2>\n

If you are looking for free things to do in Chicago and have a pair of ice skates lying around, we recommend visiting the McCormick Tribune Plaza Ice Rink. Opening on November 15, this Ice Rink is free and open to the public. Of course, rentals ice skates are for a small fee. But besides that, you’ll get to enjoy some serious wintery views along with dazzling Christmas decorum! While you’re at it, visit Chicago’s main attraction, the Cloud Gate (cough, cough:<\/em>\u00a0“The Bean”).<\/p>\n

3 Floyds Brewing Co<\/strong><\/a>.: Every Saturday at 12:30 pm, 1:30 pm, 2:30 pm, 3:30 pm, and 4:30 pm \u2014 beer tours are free! First-come-first served. No beer included.<\/p>\n

Finch\u2019s Beer Company<\/a>: <\/strong>Every Saturday at 12 pm, 1 pm, 2 pm, and 3 pm \u2014 beer tours are free. Even better, tours include free samples of beer for an hour. Visitors are given a Finch\u2019s Beer pint glass to take home.<\/p>\n

Lake Effect Brewing Company:<\/strong><\/a> Free beer tours available every Saturday at 2:00 pm, 3:30 pm, and 5:00 pm. Reserve a tour here<\/a>.\u00a0 Samples are extra.<\/p>\n
