It was the perfect night under the stars at Ravinia <\/a>as Lady Antebellum took to the stage, wowing throngs of fans with a solid performance of their past hits and new music from their soon-to-be-released CD. \u201cWhat If I Never Get Over You\u201d\u00a0is now streaming as the first single.<\/p>\n

Through their decade-long career, Lady Antebellum has been recognized for the deeply soulful lyrics and the blended harmonies of Charles Kelley, Hillary Scott, and Dave Haywood, who remarked that the first time he saw Scott sing in a Nashville bar, he told her, \u201cYou\u2019re really good.\u201d A short time later, they started writing songs together and the rest, they say, is history.<\/p>\n

This country music trio has racked up record-breaking success with nine No. One hits and earned ACM and CMA “Vocal Group of the Year\u201d trophies three years in a row and countless other awards, including Grammys, Billboard Music Awards, and People\u2019s Choice Awards.<\/p>\n

Scott delighted the audience talking about her 18-month-old twins with their images displayed in the background. Brave Dave Haywood ran out into the lawn to greet the fans, absolutely amazed by the huge crowd he saw as the group\u2019s setlist included, \u201cBartender,\u201d Just a Kiss,\u201d “Love Don’t Live Here,” and \u201cDowntown.\u201d<\/p>\n

He commented, \u201cThis looks like a nice neighborhood. Let\u2019s wake \u2018em up,\u201d as the crowd roared with cheers. The group encored with \u201cNeed You Now\u201d and everyone was up on their feet!<\/p>\n

Up and Coming Shows <\/strong><\/p>\n

Coming up next is the greatly anticipated performance of Chicago\u2019s own Jennifer Hudson<\/a> with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra on Sunday, July 14 at 6:00 p.m. Other pop concerts include Abba \u2013 The Concert on July 30, Ringo Starr on August 3 and 4, and Chicago August 10 and 11.<\/p>\n

Head for the roof at Ravinia this season with the new BMO Club for quick eats and expansive beverage service. Located on the rooftop of the newly built Ravinia Music Box Experience Center, the BMO Club features bar seating with farm-to-table and other locally sourced foods. Or grab and go your favorite salads, sandwiches, burgers, and pizza at the Ravinia Market for your picnic on the lawn.<\/p>\n

Get your new Souvenir Cup<\/strong><\/p>\n

New this year, drinks are now allowed in the Pavilion during non-classical performances. With a $10 souvenir cup, patrons can bring in beer and water into the Pavilion. Refills may be purchased at all restaurant locations and drink carts. Drink up and enjoy!<\/p>\n
