There\u2019s nothing quite like kicking back and enjoying a drink\u00a0against the backdrop of a sparkling skyline.<\/h6>\n

\"Rooftop<\/a>Even if you consider yourself quite familiar with Chicago\u2019s exploding rooftop bar scene, it\u2019s likely you haven\u2019t seen anything quite like this yet. LondonHouse, a brand-new rooftop lounge on top of the new hotel under construction on Michigan and Wacker (85 E. Wacker), is planning on offering Chicago\u2019s first ever three-level rooftop terrace.<\/p>\n

The terrace offers \u201csweeping views of the Chicago River, Lake Michigan and the Magnificent Mile from the top of it all,\u201d according to LondonHouse\u2019s website<\/a>. The area will also offer classic cocktails and small bites.<\/p>\n

While the three-story patio is sure to draw the largest crowds, the bar and hotel both also offer plenty more than what meets the eye initially. The original in-dome cupola sitting on the exclusive 23rd<\/sup> floor will allow you to book private dinners for a dining experience we can\u2019t wait to try for ourselves. Two floors below, the fashionable indoor bar is set to offer up a variety of American fare (with a contemporary spin) in a charged-up atmosphere.<\/p>\n

Last but not least, the Bridges Lobby Bar, which features floor to ceiling windows on the second floor. The lounge area has views of the Chicago River, drinks, and small bites with a more casual ambiance than the areas up above.<\/p>\n

\"Rooftop<\/a>According to the site, \u201cNo matter where you are from, your Chicago dining and drinking adventure starts here.\u201d We\u2019ll wait and see, but we can\u2019t deny that the early returns look promising.<\/p>\n
