That\u2019s not because I am cheap, it\u2019s strictly based off how expensive living in a major city is. And after Googling these ideas, you typically settle for a night of pizza, wine, and Netflix because, let\u2019s be honest, everyone has walked <a href=\"http:\/\/www.centralparknyc.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Central Park<\/a> or visited <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hudsonriverpark.org\/explore-the-park\/activities\/mini-golf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Hudson River Park Mini Golf<\/a>. That said, there are a few weeks where you can look like a baller on nice dates and be actually be able to afford it. You can finally post Snapchat stories of a nice steak and wine dinner instead of your pizza and ranch meal.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nycgo.com\/restaurant-week-about\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-17152\" src=\"https:\/\/urbanmatter.com\/chicago\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/original_NYC_Restaurant_Week_Summer_2012-RiverPark.jpg\" alt=\"NYC Restaurant Week\" width=\"619\" height=\"406\" \/>NYC Restaurant Week<\/a><\/h2>\n<p><em><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">July 24th- August 18th<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The semiannual NYC Restaurant Week promotion is put on with hopes to celebrate fine dining at an affordable price. There will be more than 380 restaurants participating in this event with hopes of bringing more business during their slower hours. These restaurants will serve three-course meals with pre-fixe dining deals depending on the time of day and criteria met by the restaurant. This means that restaurants will have deals on appetizers, meals, and dessert altogether. NYC Restaurant Week is perfect for anyone that loves to find bargain deals. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The restaurants participating will be open to the cheaper eats during lunch time and dinner time on Monday-Friday, but the weekends may vary depending on the restaurant. Make reservations to ensure the bargain deal is still going on and confirm a table before heading out. If you are unable to make a reservation, there are still walk-ins, but the wait time is expected to be longer because of the cheap eats.
