The Chicago White Sox<\/strong> (hopefully 3-4 after the home opener) face the Toronto Blue Jays (87\u201375, Wild Card team last year) in Game 2 at Guaranteed Rate Field tonight, and we need to bounce back. They spoiled our home opener yesterday. We lost 99 games last year. They made the playoffs with 87 wins.<\/p>\n

The Blue Jays have Vladimir Guerrero Jr.\u2014one of the best hitters in baseball. Bo Bichette is a proven All-Star shortstop. Alek Manoah is a quality starter. They’re built to compete for championships with star power and depth.<\/p>\n

We have Colson Montgomery at shortstop. Drew Thorpe on the mound. Luis Robert Jr. trying to stay healthy. After (hopefully) losing the home opener, we need to bounce back and salvage something from this series.<\/p>\n

For White Sox fans, this is Game 2 of the homestand\u2014a chance to avoid getting swept at home by a playoff team.<\/p>\n
