The latest in the pop culture pop-ups has been announced. Head to Miami circa the 1980s and join everyone\u2019s favorite quartet at <\/span>The Golden Girls Kitchen<\/a>. <\/span><\/i>A detailed dining experience inspired by the iconic Miami hangouts and other memorable moments from the classic sitcom. With so much on offer, this just might be a pop-up that you do not want to miss!<\/span><\/p>\n

After the pop-up had great success in Beverly Hills and New York City it is coming to Chicago, tickets went on sale on April 12th and the experience opens on Wednesday, May 10th. The experience will be a fast-casual restaurant with a focus on desserts of course.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

What the Ticket Includes<\/h2>\n

Each ticket comes with a 90 minute reservation that has a guaranteed window of time, a choice of an entree, and the best part, cheesecake. The entree menu features the likes of <\/span>Sophia\u2019s Lasagna Al Forno <\/span><\/i>(meat or vegan), <\/span>The Lanai: A \u201cMiami style\u201d Cuban Sandwich, Blanche\u2019s Georgia Style Cookie, <\/span><\/i>and <\/span>the Bacon Lettuce Potato Sandwich (Say it Fast). <\/span><\/i>There will also be cheesecake in a variety of flavors. However, if you want to upgrade your dessert, try the <\/span>Spierheoven Krispies <\/span><\/i>(available in vegan) which includes strawberry cheesecake and chocolate ice cream.<\/span><\/p>\n

On top of the dinner experience, the pop-up will come complete with a variety of iconic photo moments to immerse yourself in the world of Dorothy, Rose, Blanche, and Sofia. Sit around their kitchen table, get some sun on the Lanai, or snap a pic in front of everyone\u2018s favorite banana leaf print. A pop-up store will also be set up with a brand new range of \u201cThe Golden Girls\u201d merchandise!<\/span><\/p>\n
