Chicago is a romantic city, and what is romance without poetry? Whether you’re a Shakespeare fan, or rather hang out with your Emily Dickinson at a book bar<\/a> on a cozy afternoon, you can’t miss out on a unique celebration for World Poetry Day, happening March 21st, at Truth Be Told: an English tavern residing within the University of Chicago campus.<\/p>\n

On March 21st from 5 pm to 7 pm, every diner at Truth Be Told will receive a free poem provided by Poems While You Wait<\/a>, a collective of poets and their vintage typewriters. To receive a custom-made, one-of-a-kind poem, all you need to do is providing your name and a topic (funny, sad, serious, etc).<\/p>\n
