Kicking off Women’s History Month, many Chicago restaurants and bars are raising funds for International Women’s Day this year. As we gather our list of women-owned and women-led restaurants, you should totally stop by one of these spots, enjoy some delicious cocktails and bar bites, and contribute to Chicago community’s joint effort in elevating women’s quality of life.<\/p>\n

In recognition of International Women\u2019s Day, aliveOne in Lincoln Park will offer a special $6 “The Becky” cocktail with Tito’s, Pamplemousse La Croix, fresh lime juice, and demerara syrup. A portion of proceeds from each cocktail sold will benefit the Chicago Women\u2019s Health Center<\/a>. A $6 High Noon special will also be available all night.<\/p>\n

CWHC facilitates the empowerment of women, trans people, and young people by providing access to health care and health education in a respectful environment where people pay what they can afford.<\/p>\n

They Why Not cocktail is $12 each and features Zubrowka Bison Grass Vodka, BroVo Lucky Falernum, Nocello Walnut Liqueur, Fee Brothers Cranberry Bitters, lemon, and cherry.<\/p>\n

Chicago Foundation for Women focuses on the issues that affect all women, girls, trans, and gender nonbinary people. CFW envisions a world in which all women, girls, trans, and gender nonbinary people have the opportunity to thrive in safe, just and healthy communities.<\/p>\n

The Human Rights Campaign envisions a world where every member of the LGBTQ+ family has the freedom to live their truth without fear, and with equality under the law. They empower 3 million members and supporters to mobilize against attacks on the most marginalized people in the community.<\/p>\n

The Fall Back In Love cocktail features Maker’s Mark (which is co-founded by Margie Samuels), pomegranate liquor, fig syrup, ginger beer, lemon, and fig.<\/p>\n
