It’s getting cold quickly, and you know what always hits the spot for me during cold weather? A big pot of hot food. In the past few years, I’d always go grab the best soup in Chicago<\/a> or indulge in a friendly hot pot night. But this year, allow me to share my newly-discovered gems \u2014 the best melting pot restaurants in Chicago!<\/p>\n

Melting pot, also known (actually, officially known) as fondues, are basically Western hot pots. Traditionally, your pot is either cheese-based or chocolate-based, although there are other variations nowadays. You then dip meat, vegetables, or even fruit and sweets into the pot to coat them with whatever is in there. Then, voila, enjoy!<\/p>\n
