It’s officially the spooky season, and we hear no argument regarding whether it’s too early to start talking Halloween. Instead, allow us to present you a spooky-romantic Halloween plan. This year, Thorn Restaurant & Lounge in Rosement will bring you an exclusive four-course dinner paired to perfection with a selection of world-class Prisoner Wines. Enchantresses and vampires, it’s time for a seductive dining experience.<\/p>\n

Just in time for Halloween,\u00a0Thorn Restaurant & Lounge<\/b><\/a>,\u00a0<\/b>located in the The Rose Hotel Chicago O\u2019Hare, a Tapestry Collection by Hilton hotel, located at\u00a05200 Pearl St.,\u00a0is thrilled to partner with\u00a0The Prisoner Wine Company<\/b>\u00a0for an exclusive\u00a0Prisoner Wine Dinner<\/b> on Friday, October 29 at 7 p.m.<\/p>\n

The special two-hour evening will be hosted by John Samaritano, a WSET III certified sommelier, and will feature a custom four-course menu perfectly crafted and complemented by Thorn\u2019s Executive Chef Nicholas Malloy. Tickets are $110 per person and are available now to purchase. Tickets are extremely limited, and will sell out.<\/p>\n

The Prisoner Wine Dinner<\/b>\u00a0will begin with a light cocktail hour, as guests will enjoy an\u00a0Organic Prosecco<\/b>. Patrons will then be taken to their seats, where John Samaritano will begin the evening guiding patrons through a bold yet smooth\u00a0Saldo Zinfandel<\/b>,\u00a0paired with a Korean-fried smoked pork belly, topped with miso cream, apple kimchi, and cilantro.<\/i><\/p>\n

Guests will then move on to a bright and crisp\u00a0Unshackled Rose<\/b>,\u00a0complemented with a seared scallop, butternut squash risotto, Brussel sprouts, parsnip, prosciutto chip, almond and arugula salad.<\/i>\u00a0From there, John will talk through the rich and well-balanced\u00a0Eternally Silenced Pinot Noir<\/b>,\u00a0with braised Denver ribs, a pinot polenta, crispy broccolini, mint confit shallots, and a beurre rouge sauce.\u00a0<\/i>To end the evening on a sweet note, John will take patrons through the opulently flavorful\u00a0Prisoner Red Blend\u00a0<\/b>that is completed with a red wine chocolate Tres Leches topped with a mirror glaze.\u00a0\u00a0<\/i><\/p>\n
