Easy Street<\/a><\/h2>\n

3750 N Central Ave<\/strong><\/p>\n

Pizza and beer. What more could you ask for?! Easy Street has you covered and, for that reason, it has become a go-to hotspot in Portage Park. Check it out and don’t forget to make a return visit over the summer for their beer garden complete with colorful picnic tables, perfect for your IG shots.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Fischman’s Public House<\/a><\/h2>\n

4058 N Milwaukee Ave<\/strong><\/p>\n

Fischman’s was a staple of Jefferson Park from 1915 to 2016 and now Fischman’s Public House is calling Portage Park home. Patrons are greeted by a wrap-around bar and a bright, colorful wall mural contrasting the brick walls. Beyond the draft beer menu, beer-battered cheese curds are a fan favorites at Fischman’s. Same with avocado bombs. Yes, avocado bombs. That’s avocado filled with pepper jack cheese, wrapped in pork, breaded, and fried.<\/p>\n

Hops and Barley<\/a><\/h2>\n

4359 N Milwaukee Ave<\/strong><\/p>\n

Hops and Barley is a Portage Park bar known for crazy good deals. They serve up happy hour food and drinks Monday through Friday. On top of that, there are daily specials including\u00a0trivia Tuesday deals and half off wine on Saturdays!<\/p>\n

The Windsor Tavern<\/a><\/h2>\n

4530 N Milwaukee Ave<\/strong><\/p>\n

Also known for their pizza (Portage Park clearly has their priorities straight with all this pizza!), The Windsor Tavern might be your new to-go bar. This corner bar has a relatively long list of rotating craft beers and a covered patio area perfect for a quick game of bags.<\/p>\n

Sutherland’s<\/a><\/h2>\n

5353 W Irving Park Rd<\/strong><\/p>\n

Sutherland’s is a classic neighborhood bar. Even\u00a0their name is a nod to Portage Park bar history. It’s named after E.B. Sutherland, who opened the first tavern in Portage Park on what’s now Milwaukee Avenue\u00a0back in 1841.<\/p>\n
