Thankfully, we have<\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/www.chicagoline.com\/skyline\/\" target=\"_blank\"> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Chicago Line Cruises<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> to do the heavy lifting for us. The site\u2019s new interactive graphic allows you to individually select from 37 of Chicago\u2019s most prestigious buildings, giving information and fun facts on each.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The infographic allows you to view construction information, floors, height, and square footage of each building seen in Chicago\u2019s skyline. You can also find information on the architects who built them.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/www.chicagoline.com\/skyline\/\" width=\"100%\" height=\"900px\">You need an iframes capable browser to view this content.<\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">One thing we\u2019re pretty happy about: the guide still lists Sears Tower underneath the Willis Tower\u2019s name. These guys are true Chicagoans in our book!<\/span><\/p>\n<h6><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Some fun facts that stuck out to us:<\/span><\/i><\/h6>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cThe statue atop the Chicago Board of Trade Building is a three-story art deco statue of the Roman goddess Ceres, goddess of agriculture and prosperity. The statue has no face.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cFormerly the world&#8217;s tallest marble-clad building, in its design, the Aon Center is almost identical to First Canadian Place, a skyscraper in Toronto, with the only major difference being the orientation of the exterior windows.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cFrom the 95th floor 360-degree open-air skywalk [of the John Hancock Center], four different states (Iowa, Indiana, Wisconsin, Michigan) can be seen.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cOne interesting element of the Tribune Tower is its collection of rocks and bricks, brought to Chicago by Tribune correspondents at the request of Colonel McCormick and integrated into many areas of the building&#8217;s lower levels.
