(Our second thought: why the hell didn\u2019t we think of this first?)<\/p>\n<p>The Bacon and Beer Classic is hosted in stadiums across 5 major cities in the U.S., with Chicago\u2019s very own Soldier Field being one of them.<\/p>\n<p>Normally we go with the whole intro first, then body article kinda thing, but since we already blew the first two thoughts in the opener \u2013 here are 8 more thoughts on the Bacon and Beer Classic.<\/p>\n<p><strong>1)<\/strong> Breweries include Blue Moon, Brooklyn Brewery, Crispin, Leinenkugel\u2019s, Saugatuck Brewing Company, Founders, Shiner, Abita, Church Street, Ale Syndicate, Half Acre, Woodchuck, Goose Island, Motor Row Brewing, and Lake Effect Brewing Company. It\u2019s gonna be good.<\/p>\n<p><strong>2)<\/strong> This may be the cheapest beer that has ever been sold at Soldier Field.<\/p>\n<p><strong>3)<\/strong> The food isn\u2019t just bacon, it\u2019s just all centered around bacon. There\u2019s a difference.<\/p>\n<p><strong>4)<\/strong> How about bacon s\u2019mores, peanut butter bacon burgers, bacon mini donuts, bacon cupcakes, and Jamaican kabobs? Yeah, that kind of difference.<\/p>\n<p><strong>5) Everything is all-inclusive, meaning you eat &amp; drink all you want from the second you step on the field.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>6)<\/strong> Speaking of stepping on the field, the Bears will be playing on that exact surface with thousands of screaming fans just two weeks later.
