Finkl &amp; Sons Steel Plant \u2013 now known as Lincoln Yards \u2013 is getting a complete makeover by owners <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sterlingbay.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Sterling Bay<\/a>, and it honestly looks sooooo cool.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to beautiful new parks and walkways on the Chicago River, future amenities include a sick looking skate park and climbing wall, a dog park with what I&#8217;m pretty sure is a pooch sized Crown Fountain, an extension of the 606 trail (finally), and a newly refurbished \u2013 and ultimately relocated \u2013 Clybourn Metra station.<\/p>\n<p>Seriously \u2013 when do we move in?<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_28339\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-28339\" style=\"width: 1000px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-28339\" src=\"https:\/\/urbanmatter.com\/chicago\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/Webp.net-resizeimage-7.jpg\" alt=\"Amazon HQ2\" width=\"1000\" height=\"571\" srcset=\"https:\/\/urbanmatter.com\/chicago\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/Webp.net-resizeimage-7.jpg 1000w, https:\/\/urbanmatter.com\/chicago\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/Webp.net-resizeimage-7-600x343.jpg 600w, https:\/\/urbanmatter.com\/chicago\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/Webp.net-resizeimage-7-300x171.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-28339\" class=\"wp-caption-text\"><em>Photo Credit: Sterling Bay \u2013\u00a0Skidmore, Owings &amp; Merrill<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Of course, with a price tag estimated at as high as $10 billion and no current approval from 2nd Ward Alderman Brian Hopkins, the new Lincoln Yards certainly isn&#8217;t in development. Yet.<\/p>\n<p>But whether Amazon and Bezos decide to lock onto the space or not \u2013 rumor has it the selection team will be in Chicago this week to visit each proposed site \u2013 the Lincoln Park
