If you&#8217;re looking to see some animals, view some art, or just learn a little history, here&#8217;s a roundup of this month&#8217;s free museum days.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.adlerplanetarium.org\/adler-planetarium-special-offers\/\" target=\"_blank\">Adler Planetarium:<\/a><\/strong> Free to Illinois residents on December 2, 3, 7, 12, and 13.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.artic.edu\/\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Art Institute of Chicago<\/strong><\/a>:\u00a0The Art Institute is free year-round for Illinois residents on Thursdays from 5-8 p.m.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.chicagobotanic.org\/\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Chicago Botanic Garden<\/strong><\/a>:\u00a0This spot is free every day, but parking can be expensive. Opt to take a train instead \u2014 the Union Pacific North line stops right by the entrance.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.czs.org\/Brookfield-ZOO\/Home\" target=\"_blank\">Brookfield Zoo:<\/a><\/strong> Free admission for all active, reserve, and retired military with ID.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.chicagochildrensmuseum.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">Chicago Children&#8217;s Museum<\/a><\/strong>: Free every Thursday from 5 pm-8 pm and every first Sunday of the month.
