But even if I wasn\u2019t, I can say in full confidence that Paulie Gee\u2019s is great. It\u2019s a strong rival to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.robertaspizza.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Roberta\u2019s<\/a> in Bushwick (I still can\u2019t decide which one I prefer, but I\u2019m leaning towards Paulie Gee\u2019s). The pizza is delicious and there\u2019s a ton of variety, if that\u2019s what you\u2019re looking for, and Paulie walking by to say good evening is a nice little touch. The restaurant itself is a warm and cozy spot with dim lighting and a rustic feel \u2014 perfect for a date night or a casual meal with friends.<\/p>\n<p>Warning, however, there will be a wait, and you\u2019re not able to take your pizza outside. Nevertheless, my personal favorite is the Hellboy, which is made with hot honey and fresh soppressata. Choose the one in Williamsburg if you want a restaurant that\u2019s a bit more spacious, but they both taste the same. Although neither is as good as Paulie Gee\u2019s, and both seem to lack that authentic charm, the pizza is fairly good. A lot of the employees are\u00a0Italian, after all. My advice: head here on a cold night, sit back and relax by the fire, and buon appetito! Forcella is perfect for those evenings when all you want is a simple, traditional, Italian margherita without the fuss. And if you&#8217;re actually in the mood to leave your apartment, keep in mind that this pizzeria is BYOB! For $12 on Monday through Friday, you get a fresh salad along with your pizza.
