For some, the countdown to St. Patrick\u2019s Day is already on but you don\u2019t have to hold out until March to celebrate! Instead, get the best of both worlds this December by visiting Chicago\u2019s 3rd<\/sup> annual Irish Christmas Market<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Festivals pop up in nearly every Chicago neighborhood throughout the summer but there are only a couple to get you through the winter. Eamon Byrne, originally from Kilkenny, Ireland, noticed this and decided to bring a winter festival to his new Chicago neighborhood by starting the Irish Christmas Market. This European-style market features Irish dancing, Irish bands, and Christmas carols. Bring the kids for Christmas crafts and pictures with Santa!<\/p>\n

In addition to Irish artisan gifts and live entertainment, you can enjoy seasonal\u00a0eats. They will be serving Irish coffee, hot chocolate, Guinness (of course!), corned beef sandwiches and more.<\/p>\n

See you there for a friendly outdoor market and winter wonderland!<\/p>\n
