In 1932, the Society opened its museum at North Avenue and Clark Street, and the often-renovated building still stands today. Now known as The Chicago History Museum, it features both permanent Chicago history exhibits and rotating temporary exhibitions. The museum is constantly adding new artifacts, such as the city\u2019s first \u2018L\u2019 car that dates back to the 1893 Columbian Exposition.
