It is located near Milwaukee Avenue and Augusta Boulevard in an area once known as Chicago\u2019s Polish Downtown. One of the oldest ethnic museums in the country, the Polish Museum of America features a variety of both permanent and temporary exhibits. Prominent Polish figures like Pope John Paul II and Casimir Pulaski are spotlighted, and some of the artifacts on display include artwork, costumes, and crafts, as well as World War II-era military and maritime items.
