Erected in 1924, the stadium was one of the first of its kind in the United States and has been paving the way for pro athletic facilities ever since. The Soldier Field we now know was renovated in fully in 2003 and officially updated in 2015. It was in large part due to these renovations that Soldier Field lost its standing as a US Historical Site.
