Celebrities Share Their Face and Weight-Loss Transformations in 2025
Many things can change over one year.
After 2025, which was a year of both celebrity heartbreaks and happiness, the stars not only underwent emotional changes but also experienced physical transformations. The example of Amy Schumer is exemplary, as she achieved a significant weight-loss after her diagnosis in 2024 with Cushing syndrome — a hormonal disorder caused by abnormal cortisol levels.
“I didn’t just lose 30 lbs, I lost 50,” she shared in an Instagram post on Dec. 2. “Not that I wanted to look hot which does feel fun and is temporary. I did it to survive.”
Schumer pointed out that the illness, which can severely puff up the face and be deadly, was initially spotted by the fans commenting on her looks. “The internet spotted the disease and it is gone now,” she said.
Jelly Roll went on with his weight loss and his fitness journey, admitting during an April interview with Big Night AHT, “I was more than 540 pounds when I started and this morning I was down to 357 pounds.”

Furthermore, “Son of a Sinner” artist Jelly Roll dramatically altered his appearance by getting rid of his signature beard for the first time in ten years.
“I was one of the reasons why I started growing a beard because I was so obese,” he told on Instagram in November. “It was just easier to cover up what was happening here.”
He was not the only celebrity to ditch his face hair. Jason Momoa shaved completely to get ready for his role as Duncan Idaho in Dune: Part Three. However, he was not very happy about it, unlike Jelly Roll. “Goddammit,” the Aquaman actor said jokingly in a July Instagram video while shaving. “I hate it.”
It was not only facial hair that had highlight changes. Ariana Grande and Ariana Madix both changed their hair color to brunette this year and Kate Middleton got lighter her dark brown hair.

Fans saw the “Flowers” singer hardly recognizable and were bewildered when Miley Cyrus showed up almost with no eyebrows at all at the 2025 Academy Awards.

The country music musician, who lost more than 200 pounds over a number of years, revealed yet another transformation when he decided to trim his beard off completely, the one they’ve associated him the most with.
“I look like a ninja turtle,” he chuckled in a video uploaded to Instagram in November. “It’s crazy. I think one of the reasons why I grew my beard was because I was so fat that it was simply more convenient to hide what was going on here with my face.”
The change was such a surprise to his wife, Bunnie Xo, that she couldn’t believe it was actually him without the beard. “I’ve never seen this man without his facial hair,”” she said in her video posted on Instagram. “Dude, you’re looking so good.”

The Princess of Wales was a bit forgetful in September when she showed off her new honey-colored hair during her visit to London’s Natural History Museum with Prince William.
When asked about the change in her hair color, Kate gave a simple answer. “It was brown before,” she mentioned in an interview in November, according to the Daily Mail, “but it has gone light in the sunlight.”

“They had to cement them in as the glue wasn’t holding,” she said while describing the dental operation on the August episode of the Creative Chaos podcast. “They have to pull teeth.”
As for the negative remarks about her smile in the past, Tammy always had a sharp comeback ready: “Haters make me famous.”

Following the conclusion of Glinda the Good Witch’s tale on the big screen, Ariana Grande decided to end her Wicked blonde look phase as well. It had been three years since she had bleached her hair for the character in 2022, when she showed off a new dark hair color in November during the promotion of the second and last segment of the movie musical Wicked: For Good.
Nicole Kidman
Nicone Kidman made her first public appearance at Paris Fashion Week in October right after she and Keith Urban parted ways. Nicole parted from Keith after 19 years of marriage, and shortly after filing for divorce she was seen with a new hairstyle that had blunt bangs which instantly grabbed attention.
That was not her only hairstyle change in 2025. At the Met Gala in May, the three-time Oscar nominee had a short, neck-length haircut showing obvious brown roots. Her hairstylist, Adir Abergel, said the hairstyle was a nod to the “essence of Dandyism” thus, conveying a more masculine androgynous facet of her usual look.

He shaved his face for the filming of Dune: Part Three, a movie where he will be playing the same character of swordmaster Duncan Idaho that he left out the second installment of the franchise in 2024.
During a short video that went up on Jason’s Instagram in July, he made a quip about seeing his real face for the first time in a long while and saying, “Goddammit, I hate it.”

We just got a new brunette bombshell walking into the villa. In November, Ariana Madix, host of Love Island USA, changed her hair color to a beautiful dark brown shade after going blonde for so long.
Madix shared in a TikTok video: “I was feeling so good even before we styled the hair.” “I was blonde from the day I was born, and I have experimented with every blonde shade, but I was really exhausted of being that way.”
The Vanderpump Rules alum mentioned that she did not take long to fall in love with the transformation: “I was sitting there at the salon and taking my own photos because I was so overjoyed.”
