Carey’s next project will be a major Netflix release of The Chronicles of Narnia ,in which she will share the screen with stars like Daniel Craig and Meryl Streep.

Carey will be among the cast of the Narnia Chronicles that is coming out on Netflix sometime this year. She is sharing the screen with Daniel Craig and Meryl Streep.

Carey was a little put on the spot when she came back from the investiture ceremony and someone asked her who she thought was going to replace Daniel as James Bond. The actor had all but confirmed that he was done playing 007 after the 2021 release of No Time To Die.

She replied, ‘Really hard, isn’t it? to fill those shoes. One of the things about Daniel is that he was not only a brilliant actor but he was a kind of a person who you wouldn’t even imagine for that role, right? I guess the main thing is it has to be somebody who is just an amazing actor.’

In 2010, Carey was the recipient of the BAFTA for Best Actress for her role in An Education. She added, ‘I cannot express how lucky I am to be able to do the job that I really, really love. To be recognised in this way on top of everything is really quite wonderful for me.’
