What was probably an unknown medical intervention has now become the reason for celebration of a new chapter in Brittany Cartwright’s life. The mother of the 4-year-old son Cruz whom she shares with Jax Taylor, her estranged husband, had the change in her body first-hand and later informed her Instagram followers on Oct. 5: “When they said ‘remove what no longer serves you,’ I really went for it… I did a thing. The thing I have been wanting for years and I finally made the move for me. I am over the moon with the result.”

While undergoing surgery for her mysterious condition, the Vanderpump Rules former resident shared a post-op update along with a revealing selfie.
“Still recovering,” Brittany stated, “but every day I feel stronger (and lighter). More to share with you soon, can’t wait!” Along with the caption she showed a post-op selfie in which her stomach is visible in compression bandages and there are two surgical drains attached to her with red liquid apparently filled.
Kristen Doute commented congratulating her and suggesting that the intervention might have been aimed at weight loss.

Friends — along with a surgeon who was invited — celebrate the “upgrade” of Brittany as she recovers and gives a sneak peek, against the background of a new love story.
Through a comment, Kristen Doute wrote, “My gorgeous girl! Dropping that dead weight and went for the upgrade!!” Besides that, she also tagged Beverly Hills plastic surgeon Payman Danielpour. Danielpour shared the update in his Instagram Stories saying, “So excited for this mommy and her makeover. Can’t wait for the reveal.” Brittany, who has recently a new relationship with Brandon Hanson, is still on her post‑op journey and keeps sharing her progress.

She “definitely” is seeing a former four-year boyfriend from her Kentucky days – working up the rekindled romance and keeping things “unofficial” for now.
“He’s perfect,” said Brittany to E! News in July at the Los Angeles premiere of Fox’s Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test. “Most people are, ‘Brittany has a new boyfriend!’ But I’m not going to say anything about it. I’m definitely dating. The person is a former boyfriend of mine 15 years ago, so we are getting back in touch. I’m familiar with him from my Kentucky days. So, just trying to take it easy.”
