Brittany Cartwright Confirms Split from Brandon Hanson

Two months after announcing their relationship, Brittany Cartwright has disclosed that she and Brandon Hanson are no longer together. “Just a little aside, it’s me, single. Actually we didn’t last,” the 36-year-old said on her When Reality Hits podcast episode on Oct. 10, after being asked by a fan about her “new boyfriend” and sharing her love life.
“We were good friends before, so it made sense to enter a romantic relationship,” she conveyed. “It was a short-lived love affair, we were already out in the open, but that happened way too quickly for our taste.”

Why They Split: Long Distance and Life Commitments

The former Vanderpump Rules cast member mentioned that being apart for a long time was the main reason for their break-up. “I would not be able to do the long distance and he has a lot of commitments with his three kids and work,” Brittany stated. “We were at a distance of three hours, so it was too hard for us to keep it going.”
Brittany also acknowledged that the duo “really cared about each other” and therefore, “they ended things amicably.”

Brittany Cartwright Says Staying Single Is Best Amid Ongoing Divorce

When asked about her ex Brandon Hanson, Brittany Cartwright stated, “Maybe we can still be friends, but it’s just something that I didn’t see being able to continue.”
The single mother also said that she is currently single because it is “best” for her as she still has “a lot of healing and learning to do” with regard to her turbulent divorce from Jax Taylor, which remains uncertified. Cartwright took the step to separate in August 2024 after being married for five years.
They are parents of 4-year-old son Cruz, who got autism diagnosis in April; last year, a court ordered full custody to Cartwright.

From Rumors to Reality—and Back

Cartwright and Hanson publicly confirmed their relationship in August, flaunting their love during a trip to Mexico after their first public appearance outing contribution at Beverly Hills event that sparked rumors earlier in the month. While Hanson is also separated, his estranged wife, Jasina Stanko, reacted to the affair with a ranting post on her social media only a few days before the release of the hot vacation photos. In a video on TikTok about the duo’s growing romance, Stanko said, “He’s my husband!!!” and as stated in another comment, “That guy is married.”

Clearing Up the Status

On one occasion, Jasina Stanko answered when a follower humorously implied that she had “dated” Brandon Hanson by saying, “I married him. Are you acquainted with him?” Stanko went on to deny, a tipster revealed to Page Six that the truth lies somewhere in between: “Brittany’s new relationship is happening at the moment that both of them have parallel changes in their lives. Just like Brittany, he is still in the process of a divorce, and they have parted ways for seven months with his ex.”
