Claudia Sulewski didn’t choose only one beautiful wedding dress when she married Finneas O’Connell. She had a full range of bridal outfits.
The 30-year-old actress, content creator, and Cyklar beauty founder married Billie Eilish’s older brother Finneas, 29, in a romantic outdoor ceremony in Montecito, California, on Saturday, August 29, after eight years together.
And while the couple’s nuptials attracted an impressively star-studded guest list, including Hailey and Justin Bieber, Nina Dobrev, Kristen Bell, Dax Shepard and Emma Chamberlain, Claudia Sulewski’s four custom Oscar de la Renta creations provided plenty of fashion drama of their own.
The bride worked with the legendary American fashion house to create a different outfit for each stage of their celebrations: the rehearsal dinner, ceremony, first dance and reception, and after-party.
Vogue was invited inside Oscar de la Renta’s Beverly Hills boutique less than two weeks before their wedding as Claudia went in for her final fittings, accompanied by her mother Beata Sulewska, her new mother-in-law Maggie Baird, and friends Rebecca Black and Dru MacDonald.

Claudia Sulewski’s Rehearsal Dinner Dress
Claudia had her opening outfit ready on that Saturday evening in a low-key satin gown that showed everyone what kind of a beautiful day was going to be ahead. The bias-cut masterpiece is very elegant: liquid crepe-back satin made into this piece of clothing looks like water. Crafted to flatter her silhouette, the dress features drapes of fabric on the neckline and matching draping across her back.

The couple met through a dating app in 2018, and Finneas was so inspired by Claudia that he began to write a song named after her the night they met – she would later become the inspiration for his track, Mona Lisa, Mona Lisa, and both directed and starred in his music video.
Claudia’s ‘princess’ wedding gown
Claudia Sulewski’s Wedding Gown Was the Showiest Bridal Moment. Her bride’s wedding outfit was so breathtaking that her entire collection got overshadowed by her wedding dress. A white silk-faille ballgown with a dramatic drop-waist dress that opens up into a very nice pleated skirt is a true masterpiece. A lovely scarf-like collar piece that flowed into the train was the final touch.
Claudia studied Oscar de la Renta’s designs for ideas. However, the princess-like, very grand silhouettes were the ones she would always return to when designing.
“This gown just has such a presence that even if one is not wearing it, they can still feel it,” Claudia told Vogue. While the mother-in-law, Maggie, was obviously pleased, it was Billie’s reaction that was the highlight of the fitting.
The Grammy winner joined the group via FaceTime to have an early look at her future sister-in-law’s wedding dress and told Claudia she looked “like an angel.” A long tulle veil designed to sit beneath her bun completed the bridal look, while the gown also contained one thoroughly modern and practical detail: pockets.
Billie Eilish’s very special role
Billie not only got an early peek at her brother-in-law’s wedding apparel, but she, the 24-year-old singer, was also involved in the wedding of her brother as a ceremonial officiant at the event where Claudia and Finneas got married in their family and friends’ presence.
For the occasion, Billie, who wore a corseted, off-the-shoulder dress that was olive-green in color, looked very elegant and in harmony with the garden surroundings and had a skirt that was made of flowing satin.
The wedding took place, reportedly, in Montecito’s luxurious San Ysidro Ranch with Billie arriving alongside boyfriend Nat Wolff. Finneas and Billie’s parents, Maggie Baird and Patrick O’Connell, were also there to watch their son marry his longtime love.
Claudia Sulewski’s first dance dress
For her third outfit, Claudia wanted something that felt rather more grown-up. She changed into a structured cady gown with a statement sculptural peplum created from upcycled feathers.
The use of repurposed feathers was particularly meaningful to Claudia as her body-care company, Cyklar, is vegan and cruelty-free. Tiny crystal-beaded details were scattered throughout the feathers to catch the light once Claudia hit the dance floor.
The bride had even put the gown through a ‘dance test’ before the wedding as she and Finneas would be dancing in it. The only problem was that Finneas was allowed to see the dresses beforehand.
Claudia therefore had to give some instructions, which were pretty much the opposite of Finneas’s, to their choreographer, especially for lifts to the stage where no part of a dress would show. So the sculptural creation that would come from the performance of the two pieces in combination could be kept alive!
Claudia’s playful pink after-party look
After three predominantly traditional bridal looks, Claudia completely turned her direction for the after-party.
Her fourth Oscar de la Renta outfit was inspired by the house’s early-2000s archives and the whimsical designs that were worn by its supermodels, including Gisele Bundchen and Co.
The bride, in the pink soft-necked top, was also wearing the hand-arranged bubble dress, that made of dove-grey silk faille, and her shoe color matched the grey ensemble.
Claudia, in her light pink attire, could hardly resist her smile as she teased with the comment that she “looks like a little cupcake,” right after the last fitting with the help of a very efficient professional seamstress.
Their dogs had custom Oscar de la Renta too
There was technically a fifth wedding look, although Claudia wasn’t the one wearing it. The couple’s beloved rescue dogs Peaches and Moose were given their own Oscar de la Renta accessories for the ceremony.
Matching silk faille bows were created using the exact same fabric as Claudia’s wedding gown, so the pair could walk down the aisle as the couple’s ‘flower dogs.’
It was a fittingly personal touch for Claudia and Finneas, whose relationship has included their pets almost from the beginning.
The musician proposed to Claudia in September 2025, after seven years together, whisking her away for a romantic mountaintop proposal before they shared the news with the words: “forever and ever 9.22.”
Less than a year later, surrounded by their families, famous friends, two very well-dressed dogs, and four extraordinary Oscar de la Renta creations, they finally made it official.
