Why this Tour?
We believe it is invaluable to gain an understanding of the past in order to bring healing and restoration to the present. This tour provides an important and often overlooked perspective on Austin’s history, leading right up to the present day.
Why Now?
The Black Austin Virtual Tour kicks off a series of events organized by Civil Righteousness Austin, each designed to help us grow in our capacity to empathize with the pain of racism, to confront injustice, and to reveal the love of Christ in our city:
