The couple, Arielle Kebbel and Zach Roerig, is no more.
These ex-The Vampire Diaries stars who portrayed Lexi Branson and Matt Donovan have broken up less than a year after their relationship became public.
While appearing on Kaitlyn Bristowe’s Off the Vine podcast on February 19, Arielle confirmed the breakup and added that she has not “been in a relationship in quite some time.” She also talked about how people can react differently to breakups in general.
“I’ve had this discussion with a lot of girlfriends of mine who were either breaking up with someone or divorcing,” Arielle explained. “And some are ‘I’m sorry’ because there is so much love and grief there, and others are ‘congratulations’ because it’s the hardest but best thing you could do for yourself. So, I really understand both sides.”
Arielle and Zach are the same age, 41, and they officially revealed their relationship in April when Roerig gave a bouquet of flowers to Aquamarine actress during a fan interaction.

Kebbel went on to say that the ordeal has put her in a new kind of ultimatum with herself. “I think I was never really able to be that honest with myself until now,” she said.
