Apple Martin Denies Bullying Expulsion Rumors Amid ‘Mean Girl’ Drama
Apple Martin is the daughter of Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin. She is 21 years old. She has publicly denied the rumor that she was kicked out of school for bullying. On her Instagram Stories on Monday, the “nepo baby” rejected the accusations as “completely untrue”.
Martin, who just revealed her post-university plans, re-shared a comment she made, saying she wanted to “just give you a little message from myself”.
“Hello! I didn’t want to reply but this story is incorrect and it’s gotten so far,” she typed in a private message to an unknown account. “I have never been expelled from school, let alone for bullying anyone. If people are not fond of me, I really get it and that’s okay! The internet is a place where people share their thoughts.”

Apple Martin Denies Bullying Allegations Following Viral Video Incident
Apple Martin vehemently rejected the bullying rumors and said, “But the rumor is totally false, I’m not that kind of person and anyone who knows me well can tell you that.”
Martin was accused after footage revealing her trying to disrupt a fellow debutante’s photo session and rolling her eyes at her date during the Le Bal des Débutantes in Paris was leaked in 2024.
A source close to Gwyneth Paltrow revealed to DailyMail.com that Apple is a “girls’ girl” rather than a “mean girl”. The insider said, “Apple is more mischievous and fun and she is really a complete girls’ girl. She would never intend to overshadow someone else, that was not her intention. Describing her as a mean girl is really very far from the truth.”
The source further added, “She really had a great time and I feel sorry that the whole thing is going to spoil her nice time because it was such a great time for her and the other girls.”
The footage showed the Vanderbilt student making a daring move to get a photographer’s attention while another person was being photographed. Later, she was found rolling her eyes at her date, Count Leo Cosima Henckel von Donnersmarck.
Source Defends Apple Martin’s Relationship with Date Amid Controversy; Shares New Career Plans
A close circle source of Apple Martin shared with DailyMail.com the singer and granddaughter of a noble family have “a good rapport” with their aristocratic escort, Count Leo Cosima Henckel von Donnersmarck.
“They had cameras on them all day long and they were having fun,” the source told DailyMail.com. “It was totally kidding and, once again, not snarky, not anything negative.”
In a Vogue interview, Martin disclosed her change of plans after college at the beginning of this month. Rather than going to law school, she has now decided to become an actress just like her famous mum, Gwyneth Paltrow.

Apple Martin Shares Career Aspirations and Personal Growth
Apple Martin is set to graduate from Vanderbilt University in May with a degree in law, history, and society. Looking back at her earlier idea of going to law school, she said, “I was in that rebellious phase ‘I don’t wanna be like my parents’ type of thing.”
While she has decided not to pursue a career as a musician like her father, Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, she shared her love for musical theater. “I don’t wanna be a singer. I like musical theater, but getting onstage by yourself to sing is so terrifying,” she said. “I love dancing and I love acting. My dream is to act.”
In a video for Vogue’s YouTube channel, Martin also opened up about the cosmetic enhancements she has undergone.
Apple Martin Talks Lip Filler and Family Life
Her parents, Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin, separated in 2014 after a very public break up that Paltrow called “conscious uncoupling.” The ex-couple continue to co-parent amicably and have a son, Moses, 19.
Apple seems to be carving out a name for herself too as she made her fashion show debut in 2023 when she was front row at the Chanel extravaganza in Paris.
