Police are revealing the new information about the passing of travel influencer Anunay Sood who died at the age of 32 in Las Vegas on Nov. 4.
As per the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department report that was given to People, Sood whose real name was Anunay Kuthiala was found by the Wynn Las Vegas resort staff in a room unresponsive and is said to have died from a “possible overdose”.
Law enforcement officials learned that two women were with Sood, one of whom was a woman identified as his fiancée, the women told the police that they were with him that morning. At approximately 4 a.m., the three of them were on the casino floor “looking to obtain some narcotics” when they met a man who sold them what they thought was cocaine, the report ​‍​‌‍​‍‌​‍​‌‍​‍‌quotes.

Paramedics arrived on the scene shortly after and, according to the report, they gave five doses of Narcan and performed CPR. However, Kuthiala was declared dead at the scene by the fire department at 7:23 a.m.
The investigators state in their report that they found “a small clear bag containing an unknown white substance” and a rolled $100 bill in the hotel room. A representative for the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department later confirmed to People that officers were dispatched to a location where a dead body was found early Nov. 4.
Sood—whose birth name was Anunay Kuthiala—was a Dubai-based content creator with more than 1.4 million followers on TikTok and 387,000 subscribers on YouTube. He was able to attract an online audience by revealing the tricks he used to travel the world on a tight budget, such as hiking in the Indian Himalayas while wearing ​‍​‌‍​‍‌​‍​‌‍​‍‌sneakers.
