On Instagram, Ant Anstead, 46, let the world know that he is on the mend after a “freak footy accident” in which he detached a pectoral muscle and also had tears in the rotator cuff and labrum. “Surgery now complete and I am absolutely forced to rest (which I don’t really)…. So I’m taking it as a sign!” he exclaimed. The TV host — who is reportedly dating Renée Zellweger — said he was advised rest as he starts recuperation.

Ant Anstead, 46, shared a picture on Instagram of himself in a recliner with his arm in a sling, indicating that he is recovering after surgery following a “freak footy accident.” In an attempt to rescue a cross, he detached a pectoral muscle and tore his rotator cuff and labrum playing soccer.
“Now surgery is complete and I am forced to rest (which I don’t do well)….! So I’m taking it as a sign!” he wrote on Nov. 1.
The TV presenter, who is dating Renée Zellweger and has children with exes Louise Storey and Christina Haack, said the injury happened while he was already looking into health improvements after three friends received “terrible diagnoses.” He is going to explore diet, peptides, body scans, and vitamins much more and he acknowledges that it is necessary to be “healthier and kinder to my body.”

On Instagram, three weeks prior to his “freak footy” accident, Ant Anstead shared a photo from the classroom with his ex Christina Haack and their son, Hudson, and wrote, “Teacher conference week… Hudzo is thriving! I’m gonna give us a pat on the back! We doing a great job with this little chap! Nice work mum x.” Christina responded in the comments, “Sweetest boy!!”
