Amy Schumer is happy with her body. Absolutely, the “I Feel Pretty” star – she who has been very vocal about her weight loss – has posted unedited pictures of herself in a swimsuit, showing off while she is on holiday aboard the yacht.
Schumer wrote on Instagram in her August 1 post: “I never knew there would be days like this.” “No filter as per usual [sic],” she added.
In seaside photos on a luxury boat, Schumer, 45, wore a colorful floral printed bikini top and cream lower and matched with tinted sunglasses she wore in summer. Schumer put a green-printed robe around her bikini in one picture.

The mother of 7-year-old Gene with her ex Chris Fischer also showed she was having a great time, other than just fun in the photos. Because the actress Kinda Pregnant was in a good mood in a shot where she put on a wetsuit over her blue one-piece against glittery waves.
After enjoying some fun in the sun during the trip, Schumer also had a thrilling time doing a few activities. Besides being the Trainwreck star, Schumer shared her underwater adventures scuba diving on social media platforms.

Like in her latest photo choices, Schumer remained the one who doesn’t use any filters regarding the good and bad times she had in the weight-loss journey.
Among other things, she also got her diagnosis with Cushing syndrome, the illness whose hormone cortisol can be elevated and cause death when left untreated. “I didn’t lose 30lbs, I lost 50,” she posted in Dec 2025, an Instagram post that was later removed.
Come on, who cares how a person is or isn’t?” said the actress with sarcasm. “I’m not saying that the only reason I lost weight is that I was looking hot. If anything, that was a pleasant side effect.
I’m more concerned with my survival,” explained Schumer further. It was only then that the disease that was killing my face through puffing got my attention from the masses.”
“I don’t get any pleasure out of it. It was the treatment through the medicine that the doctor ordered that saved me,” the comedian added.
Schumer Explains Why She Switched Weight Loss Treatments
Although it is a drug mainly used for treating Type 2 diabetes, Mounjaro is also available as a prescription for weight loss, and the comic actress thinks it would suit her perfectly. Schumer was so miserable about it that she couldn’t swallow the pill, and she even puked when she tried to take it.
“Three years ago, I tried taking the drug Wegovy,” she shared in a deleted March 2025 Instagram video clip with Us Weekly. “Wegovy really affected me because I was losing weight.” After taking this drug for three months, I decided that taking it had to be ended because the side effects were just too terrible.
She changed doctors then and was able to get a good treatment, and she also found out that she had perimenopause and that her hormones were out of balance, hence the symptoms that she experienced.
“They treated me with estrogen and progesterone because I realized that I was in perimenopause,” she says. “My symptoms of being perimenopausal are gone. I have a head of hair that is fuller, I have clearer skin, and I feel that I have more energy. And I get the urge to play.”
