Amelia Gray Hamlin shares details of her cosmetic procedures, denies use of lip fillers
Amelia Gray Hamlin has been very open about her looks, and is also clearing up any misunderstandings about the beauty treatments she’s had and those that she hasn’t, straight from her lips.
In a Variety interview released on Jan. 24, the 24-year-old model (daughter of Lisa Rinna and Harry Hamlin) vehemently denied having lip fillers. “Lip fillers have never been something that I’ve ever gotten,” she said. To make her point, she showed off her natural, full lips and revealed that she is currently doing SkinVive, which she explained is a “moisturizer injection,” not a filler.”
Amelia admitted to having a rhinoplasty previously. She also said that a piercing had caused her to get an infection, which led her to breast reduction surgery, and afterwards, she decided to get breast implants — a choice that she said was made unwillingly and that, in the end, brought her the most dreadful complications.

Amelia Gray Hamlin further explained the shocking experience she had after having plastic surgery revealing that she was heavily influenced by outside pressure at that time.
“When I was younger and dated someone who was much older than me, I let his perception of beauty influence my choices,” she told Variety. This time, she decided to do a breast augmentation surgery after the surgery for breast reduction left some scars and she really didn’t like them. “I woke up in a state that I didn’t agree to. We can just say that,” she said.
The surgery resulted in severe complications in a very short time. “My breasts literally could not handle what were put in me,” Hamlin said. She told that the implants were pressing on her nerves so much that she was not able to do even simple things like pumping soap.
“It was like the implants were so tightly pushing on the nerves that I couldn’t even pump soap anymore,” she said further explaining the situation. Eventually, Hamlin had to go through a 14-hour reconstruction surgery to fix the damages.

In 2020, Amelia Gray Hamlin initially breast reduction surgery was precipitated by a serious health crisis. The young model had previously explained the health crisis that necessitated her initial breast reduction surgery.
According to the Skinnay Confidential: Him and Her podcast Hamlin said that, at 16, she was very close to sepsis when she got medical help for an infected piercing. “I already had strep living in my system and then it went to [the breast] because it was an open wound,” she elaborated. “When I tell you… my boobs were this big. It’s a real thing. And I didn’t just get those down naturally… I had to fully get surgery.”
However, she made a joke at the time about her decision to keep the surgery a secret, saying she thought “my mom’s gonna kill me” if she revealed it.
