Davante ‍Adams and his wife Devanne (née Villarreal) have been dating ever since they were university students at Fresno State.

This relationship started in 2012 when the pair of freshmen at Fresno State decided to be together. Just two years later, in 2014, the Packers picked Davante as the first-round, 53rd overall pick, and that was how he moved onto the professional scene of the National Football League.

In 2018, the couple tied the knot and had three kids: Daija Leigh and Dezi Lynn (girls), and Drayson (boy). Now they are also expecting their fourth baby after they made the pregnancy announcement in April 2026.

Throughout the years, Davante’s playing in football has brought him to so many teams that his career has almost been scattered across all of them. He ‍started as an eighth-year player for the Green Bay Packers, and his next team was the Las Vegas Raiders in January 2022.

The Raiders only kept him for a little while before the trade was made with the New York Jets, where he played until October. After spending only a short period with the Jets, the Los Angeles Rams signed Davante in March 2025 as a free ‍agent.

Davante Adams and Devanne Adams became acquainted with each other when they were about to enter Fresno State University in 2012.

Till Davante graduated from the University, his name was known in connection with the Fresno State Bulldogs as he played college football for the team during 2011-2013. After that, he turned professional.

2017 was the year when the couple went on a vacation in the Bahamas, where Davante got a ring from Devanne.

‍ ‌‍Their official marriage was on June 23, 2018, in the town of Pebble Beach in the County of Monterey, California. Devanne looked beautiful in her veil designed by high fashion house Vera Wang, and she showed off the wedding photos on various online platforms. Then USA Today reported that their holiday was in Greece.

Devanne posted an Instagram message to celebrate the love between the two of them on this 8th anniversary of their marriage.

“13 years together, 8 years married, 4 kids, still my favorite person.. Happy Anniversary to the both of us🤎,” she ‍wrote.

They ‍Have Three Children and Another One on the Way

Davante and Devanne are the proud parents of three children.

They had their first daughter, Daija Leh, named on September 29, 2019, and then on April 13, 2022, the couple’s second daughter, Dezh Lynn, came into the world.

On August 8, 2024, the couple was blessed with their son Drayson.

April 2026, Davante ‍Adams and Devanne made happy news when they announced they were expecting their fourth child.

After the fourth-child pregnancy news, Devanne shared maternity photos in July where she was ready to get a new baby. “How blessed am I to get to do this again?” said Devanne, as quoted in the post.

Besides being their own family, the couple’s growing family has also come to become the central theme in Devanne’s posts on social media. She said in one of those posts during Mother’s Day 2025, “I am so very blessed to be raising my kids, not a mom.”

Davante ‍Adams was selected to the NFL in 2014, and his wife Devanne never failed to show up at his events and support him publicly.

We all know that he played for the Green Bay Packers for eight years, and it must’ve been tough for the family to get used to the move out of their hometown when Devanne accompanied Davante there before they went to Las Vegas, where the couple joined the Las Vegas Raiders team with their daughter at the age of only two.

After that, in late 2024. It was not only that they lost David in the trade, but they also went with the Los Angeles Rams to be part of the free agents in LA after New York, where David had already played 11 games.

In March 2025, Davante and the family reunited with the family at a new place where Davante and Devanne went with Drayson on his trip to Las Vegas to play with the Las Vegas Raiders team at their first place.

At one stage, a member of the Green Bay Packers team, Devanne accompanied Davante to the training camp in Green Bay. Devanne’s support has been consistent despite several relocations by the family as Davante moved around in his NFL career. She even followed him to his games and let their children know about his achievements.

That kind of support was more evident when Davante had his record-breaking first season with the St. Louis Rams.

With ‍his tally of fourteen touchdowns on receptions, Davante ‍Adams was the leading player in the NFL in that category during the year he played in it. Besides that he made history as the first player to lead the NFL in receptions for multiple franchises three times; earlier, he was the top scorer in receptions for the Green Bay Packers and Oakland Raiders.

Davante ‍Adams revealed the good news via Instagram Stories in January 2026.

Finding the longer path to Devante’s career for Devanne is just a part of a whole new narrative. Back then, she was with him in college days before he made it big on the NFL scene. At Fresno State football school, Davante was a good player but definitely not a star yet.

Now, more than a decade after they first met, the couple have three children, another baby on the way, and a family life that has grown alongside Davante’s football ‍ ‌‍ ‍‌career.
