There have been more details revealed about the sudden death of Victoria Jones, the daughter of actor Tommy Lee Jones.
It really was over a month ago that the 34-year-old passed away. However, the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in San Francisco announced to People on Feb. 17 that her death was accident due to “toxic effects of cocaine.”
Victoria was discovered dead in a hotel in San Francisco on Jan. 1. The San Francisco Fire Department has previously confirmed to E! News that at 2:52 a.m. local time New Year’s Day it was a medical emergency to which they responded. The paramedics came, and as soon as they assessed the situation, they pronounced the individual dead at the scene and after that, turned over the case to the medical examiner and the San Francisco Police Department.
Following her death, the 79-year-old Tommy Lee Jones released a family statement that read, “We thank everyone for their kindness, thoughts and prayers. We ask for your understanding and respect for our privacy in this time of ​‍​‌‍​‍‌​‍​‌‍​‍‌sorrow.”
