Filing comes just weeks after her resignation from Astronomer

Divorce has been filed by her after she resigned from the Fork Astronomer. The incident happened a few days after the ex-CEO Andy Byron left his post.
NBC News contacted Cabot, her husband, and their legal representatives for comment but did not get a reply.
Her divorce filing was just a month after she left as head of human resources at the Astronomer.
“I can assure you that Kristin Cabot is no longer with the Astronomer,” a company spokesperson said to NBC News in July. “She has resigned.”
Cabot’s exit was only a few days after Byron himself left his position as CEO due to the scandal.

Byron Resigned from Office as a Result of a Scandal

In a letter to E! News, the company acknowledged Byron’s exit: “Andy Byron has presented his resignation, and the Board of Directors has given their assent. The ex-CEO was not up to the company’s standards of behavior. The Board is going to look for the next Chief Executive while Cofounder and Chief Product Officer Pete DeJoy remains as an interim CEO.”
The scandal was brought to light on July 15 at a Coldplay concert at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts, when Cabot and Byron were filmed on the jumbotron. Their look soon became viral on the internet, receiving a lot of reactions, and as a result, their resignations were triggered.

Coldplay Frontman’s Viral Quip

Byron abruptly left the frame when the two of them hugging were displayed on the jumbotron, while Cabot hid her face with her hand and turned away from the camera. As a result, a now very famous quip from Coldplay frontman Chris Martin was elicited.
“Either they’re shagging or they’re just really shy,” Martin joked to the crowd. “I’m not quite sure which one it is.” Moreover, he said, “Oh s–t! I hope we didn’t cause a problem.” The incident soon became viral, dragging the controversy further.

Chris Martin Responds to Backlash

After a month, the 48-year-old lead singer of Coldplay decided to comment on the fiasco of the jumbotron incident, a bit of controversy that came about as a result of the band’s usage of it during concerts, and he stood up for them.
During the band’s Aug. 19 performance, Martin said to the audience, “This is definitely not a kiss-cam, it never was and will never be a kiss-cam.” When we put the one couple [on the screen] there is always the kiss-cam brand that pops up for the rest of your life.”
He also said: “This is a jumbotron. We’ve been doing this for ages. We pick out people to say hi. Sometimes they become a global scandal overnight, that’s fine. But most of the time, we’re just trying to say hi to some people, that’s all. Now, all of this s–t.”

At the August 19 concert, the “Fix You” artist went on to stage what seemed to be his next antic.
“When life throws you lemons you have to make lemonade,” Martin stated to the crowd. “So, we are going to continue to do it because we are going to meet some of you.”
After that, he seemed to provide a little more fuel to the fire, by sarcastically pointing out: “If you are not ready to be on world TV, then please get out of my picture.”

What Really Happened on the Big Screen at Coldplay’s Gillette Stadium Show?

The first fan selected was a guy whose face lit up when Martin asked everyone to sing a birthday song with him. A minute later, though, the camera was showing a couple in the audience who seemed to be holding each other.
“Just look at these two,” Martin said as the audience laughed and cheered.
