When are the iLottery draws in West Virginia?

West Virginia’s iLottery offers an array of draw games throughout the week, each with its own unique format and draw schedule. Whether you’re looking for the next Powerball drawing or the state-exclusive Cash 25, here’s a detailed guide to the draw times and a brief overview of each game.

1. CA$H POP

  • Draw times: CA$H POP holds draws every 15 minutes, seven days a week.

CA$H POP is a quick and simple game in which players choose one number from a pool of 1 to 15. Each number offers a unique payout, offering multiple chances to win throughout the day. You can play $1, $2, $5 or $10 per number and potentially win up to $5,000.

2. Powerball

  • Draw days: Powerball draws occur every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday at 11:00 PM ET.

Powerball is one of the most well-known lotteries in the United States, with jackpots that can climb into the hundreds of millions. Players select five numbers from 1 to 69 and one Powerball number from 1 to 26. There are nine payout levels in total.

Players can add the Power Play option for an additional $1 per play. This multiplier could increase non-jackpot payouts by 2x, 3x, 4x, 5x, or even 10x when the jackpot is $150 million or less.

3. Mega Millions

  • Draw days: Mega Millions draws are held on Tuesday and Friday nights at 11:00 PM ET.

Like Powerball, Mega Millions offers high jackpots, starting at $20 million and growing with each draw where no winner is declared. Players select five numbers from a pool of 1 to 70, plus one Mega Ball number from 1 to 25. Tickets must be purchased by 9:59 p.m. ET on the day of the drawings.

For an extra $1 per play, players can choose the Megaplier, which increases potential non-jackpot payouts by up to five times.

4. Lotto America

  • Draw days: Drawings for Lotto America occur every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday at 11:00 PM ET.

Lotto America is a great alternative to Powerball, offering smaller but still sizable jackpots. Players pick five numbers from a pool of 1 to 52, plus a Star Ball number from 1 to 10. The jackpots in Lotto America start at $2 million and grow until someone lands the matching numbers. The game is ideal for players who want better odds compared to larger games.

Players can choose the All Star Bonus for an extra $1 to increase non-jackpot payouts by up to five times.

5. Cash 25

  • Draw days: Draws for Cash 25 take place on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday at 6:59 PM ET.

Cash 25 is a West Virginia Lottery-exclusive game that offers players the chance at a $25,000 jackpot. Players select six numbers from a pool of 1 to 25. Since it’s unique to West Virginia, it’s a favorite among local players.

6. Additional games

  • Daily 3 and Daily 4: Both of these games have daily drawings at 6:59 PM ET, six days a week—Monday through Saturday. In Daily 3, players select three numbers, opting for ‘any play,’ an ‘exact play,’ or an ‘exact any play’ to cover all bases. The same applies in Daily 4, only they pick a four-digit number. These games offer multiple ways to play and potentially win, depending on how many digits match the drawn numbers.
  • KENO GO: This fast-paced game offers draws every three minutes. Players can choose from 1 to 10 numbers out of 80, with the goal of matching as many numbers as possible in each draw.
