James Pratt, known for being a key auction figure in the American and Australian real estate markets, is vying for his fourth Australian Auctioneer of the Year win at the
upcoming Real Estate Business (REB) Awards this Thursday. The awards, which recognize the best in the Australian real estate industry each year with be held at The Star in Sydney.
Originally from Bondi Beach, Pratt has been a fnalist for the REB Australian Auctioneer of the Year Award for six consecutive years. He started his career in a small country town in the outback of Australia and has since gained over a decade of experience as a leading auctioneer to some of the most expensive houses around the world. In 2019, he made headlines by becoming the frst person in the world to auction real estate with cryptocurrency using a live auctioneer.
The REB Awards have been running for over a decade and are widely regarded as the most prestigious awards in the Australian real estate industry.
