6 Tips to Have Vibrant Skin

Your skin is the first thing that most people notice when they come into contact with you. Everybody wants beautiful, clear, and radiant skin because vibrant skin is a sign of good health and energy and it is possible to have vibrant skin at any age. It takes time and effort to produce good skin and people who have vibrant skin are generally healthier. Achieving healthier skin is something that many people struggle with and when our skin is not looking its best, our confidence takes a knock. Good skin health is a lifestyle decision and there are many things that one can do to improve their skin’s texture and appearance. If you are someone looking to have vibrant skin, here are 6 tips that you must prioritize.

Wash your face daily

It is important to cleanse your face because this inspires life-giving oxygen at a cellular level and gives your face a cleaner complexion which improves the appearance of your skin. Daily cleansing removes dirt, oil, and pollution particles from your skin that clogs your pores and gives you a dull appearance. It is recommended that you wash your face in the morning and at night by simply massaging a small droplet of face wash with your fingers in a circular motion. For a deeper cleanse, you can apply your face wash with a cleansing brush. Using products with natural seawater will provide minerals to your face and a great product that provides this is SeaQuarius Sea Clean- Foaming and Purifying Facial wash, or any of the face washes available from Misumi Skincare.

Exfoliate weekly

Exfoliating your skin is one of the best ways to brighten and boost the glow of your skin long-term. When you exfoliate, you are removing the outer layer of skin that contains dead cells, and removing this layer exposes a clearer and smoother skin surface which reflects light beautifully. You can apply a face scrub (which is a physical exfoliate) 2-3 times per week or you can opt for a chemical exfoliator in the form of a face peel which you will do once a week if you have sensitive skin and 3 times a week if you have other skin types. Recommended products to use include Acure Brightening Facial Scrub or peel and Philosophy the Micro delivery Triple- Acid Brightening Peel which will even your skin tone, according to 71% of testers.

Moisturize is your friend

Lack of moisture on your skin results in wrinkles and a dry and dull complexion so ensure that you are moisturizing daily after every face wash in the morning and the evening. The best moisturizers to choose from are creams and face lotions which have been proven to be more hydrating than serums and oils.  Creams and lotions contain hydrating ingredients and when applied to the top layer of your skin, it helps to hold in moisture. Olay Regenerate Micro-sculpting cream is recommended to increase the moisture in your skin by 50% over a period of 24 hours. You should also apply a hydrating face mask at least twice a week.

Eat healthy and hydrate

One of the best ways to achieve good skin is to nourish yourself internally with healthy foods and plenty of water. You should eat healthy fats such as avocado and olives to improve the texture and appearance of your skin as well as improve gut health which will reflect positively on your skin. Water also cannot be neglected. Healthy amounts of water consumption relate directly to skin cell regeneration which is the key to glowing skin. The recommended amount of water to consume per day is 10 glasses and this can include tea, coffee, and fruit-infused water.

Use sunscreen

Finally, and very importantly, use sunscreen daily even if you are staying indoors. A good sunscreen will protect your skin from harsh UV rays, which are linked to premature aging of the skin and the dreaded wrinkles. Sunscreen will improve the texture and look of your skin and acts as an anti-aging formula. Apply a pea-sized amount of sunscreen to your face and neck every day for optimal results. Failure to apply sunscreen will result in wrinkles, aging spots, discoloring, and in severe cases, skin cancer.
