Madrid

Toledo

Toledo is one of the best day trips that you can take. You can go from Madrid and it’s only 30 minutes away. If you drive then you will soon see that it takes you nearly an hour. The history of this area makes it one of the best places for you to visit if you want to see everything that Spain has to offer. If you choose to fly into the capital then one day is a must, at a minimum. The old town is one of the best places for you to go and you are bound to love it. Valencia

Valencia is one of the best places for you to visit if you are a first-timer. It’s a quaint old town and it is known for its modern theme. The Old Town is full of charm too.  Even those who visit Spain for the very first time may find that it is friendly for kids and that you can wander around stress-free. Cartagena

Do you love Roman remains? Maybe you love to find out more about history and everything it has to offer. Either way, this is a great place for you to visit. This is the most prominent tourist attraction and above it, you will see a castle that overlooks the city. Barcelona

Next up, Barcelona. This is by far one of the most popular cities in Barcelona. It’s a place that happens to top everyone’s travel list and if you are going for the first time then you should give it a go. You will soon find that this area is famous for its Gaudi creations and the architect who works here has coloured the city to try and make it a fairytale kingdom that is full of mosaics. Barcelona is worth the visit and one day is certainly not enough for you to see all of the attractions that there are for you to see.

If you want to travel to this area then you need to make sure that you at least stay for five days. This is at a minimum at the end of the day. Malaga

Malaga is one of the best places for you to visit if you are a first-timer. One thing to take note of is that it is a very safe destination and there are a lot of things that you can do here. If you want some winter sun when you are in Europe then this is a great way for you to see Spain for what it truly is. Malaga is the birthplace of the famous Picasso too, so if you are a fan of art then you will not want to miss out on this as it is a fantastic way for you to see some of his work at the Picasso museum.
